I Have Long Hair Can I Have A Short Weave?

C THEATRE ARTEL

Pablo de Valladolid
Finally, the last work to exhibit in these virtual pages was the creation of a creative subject. At first I thought what we asked for was the materialization of an object of teleshopping, nobody can say they are not creative those dedicated to improving the human species through these aparatejos ... some may not be as useful, despite that want to sell as such, but creativity does not necessarily have to be tied to the utlidad. That is when I decided to dispense with the idea of \u200b\u200bthe shopping channel and focus my efforts on creating something uniquely their own and that in turn allowed me artistic freedom. Coincidentally needed in the theater group that I'm (Tambarilla Theatre) a notice to announce the premiere of a work on 12 February, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone (I always feel guilty that expression what will you see the poor birds in all this?).

The work is to represent Waiting for Godot, Samuel Beckett, located often in the sort of absurd, so I thought that the poster should reflect something unusual, to draw attention. The story tells how two characters wait for a Mr. Godot in the middle of a desolate landscape adorned only by a skeletal tree. They try to pass the time as they can, while other characters cross his path and entertain them a bit while they wait, wait, wait, and ultimately, hope. Do not move from place to finally the sun begins to announce the end of the day and night is suddenly lit by the intense glare of the moon and decide to go to return the next day to keep waiting.

Based on this brief summary and table of Velazquez Pablo de Valladolid , a work that emphasizes, because the shadow of the sitter is all that marks the space on which it is claimed, , and prevents the character look that just floats in the air in an abstract and indeterminate. Since the only time reference in the play is the moon, and all of what they are really sure of is that the characters have for each other, decided that the main characters were only in the lineup together just for the moon and shadows. In addition, since the play takes place in the passage from day to night I wanted to represent the sun in space, noting the passage of time. I also wanted to capture the characters as silhouettes lit by the glow of the moon because they are anonymous people are not known or will be, are people like you, like me or like your neighbors, people who simply want their reason to exist. So, all these elements together resulted in the lineup you see just below these lines:

The work, as I said, opens Feb. 12 at the Casa de la Cultura de Collado Villalba, in the Sierra de Madrid, at 7 afternoon (19:00). Those who do not come you can always enjoy the rare and simple pleasure it gives you what you have, which is not bad, is not the same, but it's something, and what means something is something? Well that is something, but less. Elemental.
